Week #11: Online Productivity
Like many other HCPL bloggers, I thought the Online Productivity week would be about how to juggle numerous online activities at the same time and be productive while doing so. And so I figured, we'd all have to learn to do something like this:
Ideally, without getting quite so over-confident at the end.
Once I learned what the week's lesson was really about, I was happy to give Google's online productivity tools a try. Google Docs was great, however I really liked Google Calendar. It was easy to use and a handy place to put in all my activities. I found it to be much quicker than creating a calendar in Word or Publisher, and think I just might keep on using it. I almost never put anything in a paper calendar anymore, and so this is great tool. Being more familiar with these tools will help me inform patrons about them as well.
